Privilege is watching a war from the outside, from the comfort of a sofa, and still choosing who’s guilty and innocent as if it were a movie.

The saddest thing isn’t even that…
The saddest thing is that in a few days this war will be forgotten. As happened with others that are still ongoing but have fallen into oblivion.

Privilege is choosing to forget, or prefer not to talk about suffering that is still ongoing.
(Privileges are not bad, it depends on how we use them).

Coming from a country of wars and political tensions, I advise: do not reach conclusions based on what you see in the media… and I’ll tell you what, not even in books (but that’s another story).
The view of those on the outside is never the same as that of those on the inside (it seems obvious but we forget).

Many wonder where God is.
God is where He has always been since the first human conflict. On the throne.
Oh and He doesn’t do anything?!
In fact, there was only one time when He left the throne to solve all of humanity’s problems. Yes, ALL! (That’s also another story).

Let’s not blame God for something that human hands do.
Our justice will never be perfect.
It is precisely in the name of justice that we continue to shed blood throughout the history of humanity.
Nor will we limit God to one nation. He is King over ALL nations, peoples, tribes and tongues.

Lord, help us evolve from empathy to altruism.
Help us to believe in Your justice above the justice of men.
Help us to see You, the only and sufficient Savior, and not the empty promises of humanism.
Father, teach us to connect with the heavens and pray what You pray, and do what You do. And we don’t take our eyes off You.

Para Cristãos

Privilégio é assistir uma guerra por fora, no conforto de um sofá, e ainda escolher culpados e inocentes como se fosse um filme.

O mais triste até nem é isso…
O mais triste é que daqui há alguns dias essa guerra será esquecida. Assim como aconteceu com outras que ainda decorrem mas caíram no esquecimento.

Privilégio é escolher esquecer, ou preferir não falar de um sofrimento que ainda decorre.
(Privilégios não são maus, depende de como usamos).

Vindo de um país de guerras e tensões políticas, aconselho: não cheguem a conclusões baseadas no que vêm nas mídias… e digo-vos mais, nem em livros (mas isso é outra história).
A visão de quem está de fora nunca é igual a de quem está dentro (parece obvio mas esquecemos).

Muitos se perguntam onde está Deus.
Deus está onde sempre esteve desde o primeiro conflito humano. No trono.
Ah e Ele não faz nada?!
Na verdade só teve uma vez que Ele saiu do trono para resolver todos os problemas da humanidade. Sim, TODOS! (Isso também é outra historia).

Não vamos culpar Deus, por algo que mãos humanas fazem.
A nossa justiça nunca será perfeita.
É exatamente em nome de justiça que continuamos a derramar sangue ao longo da história da humanidade.
Nem tampouco vamos limitar Deus a uma nação. Ele é O Rei sobre TODAS as nações, povos, tribos e línguas.

Senhor, ajuda-nos a evoluir de empatia para altruísmo.
Ajuda-nos a crer na Tua justiça acima da justiça dos homens.
Ajuda-nos a enxergar em Ti, O único e suficiente Salvador, e não nas promessas vazias do humanismo.
Pai, ensina-nos a nos conectarmos com os céus e orar o que Tu oras, e fazer o que Tu fazes. E não tirarmos os nossos olhos de Ti.
