Psalms 46:10 — “Be still, and know that I am God; …”
Sitting still is also part of the process of being creative. Creativity can be very overwhelming sometimes. Not because being creative is hard, but because you just want to do so much and the ideas keep flowing and you’re just not sure where to start and which to do first. So sometimes, actually often, these words God speaks to us are the necessary calmth our soul needs. To process, to reorganize and prioritize.
I am so grateful for both my parents teaching me (by doing) unique ways of being creative and how to deal with the intensity it brings. Celebrating you both today.
