Psalm 18:47 [NIV] — “He is the God who avenges [El Nekamoth] me, who subdues nations under me.”
Adoration
El Nekamoth, You are the God who avenges me, who subdues my enemies under me. You tell me in Your Word that vengeance is Yours, and this is because You are El Nekamoth. You know how to prepare a table before me in the presence of those who oppose me. You set me in high places when others try to take me down. I praise You because You are the God of justice. It is a terrible thing to fall in the hands of El Nekamoth. I glorify Your name because You have shown Yourself to be all-powerful in my life.
Confession
El Nekamoth, I admit that I rush to seek my own vengeance when I feel I have been wronged. I confess to You that I like to see swift retaliation, and when I don’t see You intervening, I sometimes try to avenge myself. Please forgive me for not leaving vengeance to You. Forgive me for wrapping my own agenda into life’s situations when I should leave the matter in your hands.
Thanksgiving
El Nekamoth, thank You for being the God who avenges. Thank You for balancing the scales when I stay out of the equation. Thank You for Your heart of justice. Thank You for Your compassion, which seeks to right wrongs when I’ve been treated unfairly. When someone has unjustly accused me or sought to remove my influence or bring me pain, You see, You hear, You care… You are there. You are El Nekamoth–You avenge me, and for that I am truly grateful.
Supplication
El Nekamoth, I ask You to give me restraint so that I don’t seek my own revenge and then miss out on witnessing Your intervention on my behalf. Help me not to harbor bitterness or unrighteous anger toward those who have sought harm against me and thereby prohibit You from carrying out what You wish on my behalf. Where I have been unfairly treated, El Nekamoth, please remove, correct, or bring to repentance the person or persons who have done it.

Then author of this blog “Tashmess”, took this from Dr. Tony Evan’s book: “Praying through the names of God”… it’s best to give credit not only because it brings honor to our brothers and sisters who God blessed them to share their talents with us, but also to give credit because the book is powerful and can help others understand God in His fullness!

Amen Brittany, that indeed it is! That’s why I placed the tags at the bottom of the blog. And then continuing on, I started sharing it at the beginning of the blog. I guess it’s clearer that way. I have just adjusted this one as well, so now it’s at the top and clear as well.
Here the link of the tag, so you can find the other pages I have shared so far: https://tashmness.com/tag/the-names-of-god/
Thank you for your feedback and have a lovely day!
