Last one, before we continue with the weeks, which I have started preparing already. The last time I explained the hectic and gave you the short version of all that happened the past weeks. This time, a short update.
I am slowly getting back. And it’s nice. I am taking my time and also allowing my body to recover. From the moment I arrived in the Netherlands, I was attacked with these hay fever symptoms. Sneezing, itchy eyes, watery eyes, itchy throat, itchy gums, itchy roof of my mouth, and a loss of voice. Thank God, not all at once. But yeah, a lot itched. And then on the last day of my two weeks there, I started feeling a flu coming up. Which hit on the day after: my travelling day back to Portugal. Which was also my moving day from Faro to Lisbon. And still today, this flu is here. I think it might be some allergic reaction, actually. We’ll see, today I took antihistamines. So yes, many travels, and those weren’t all yet. I had one day of rest and the next day, more travels. Lisbon, Amsterdam, and… drumroll… Curaçao! Yayy! The perfect place to rest, recover and renew. Also, right on time for my uncle’s birthday. Two days later, one final flight, for now. Bonaire. Where my mother and I surprised my sister, and where I saw my sister walk on the red carpet towards her graduation stage, receiving her diploma. A beautiful step into her next phase in life. What an honour to be here. What a blessing. Another week and a few days, and then I go back to Curaçao, where my father already has fun activities planned for us.
Still strapped in this rollercoaster, I am getting back bit by bit. Still can’t wait to share all I have reserved with you. And I hope you are holding on too.
Thank you for reading, danki di kurason.
