To take care of yourself doesn’t just mean looking out for yourself.
The mind is the most important place to hide the treasures of life.
I have seen it all, well most of it. Not that I have lived long, but enough to realize that without appreciating the people around you it will make you bitter and lonely.
Forgiveness is not only meant to set others free, but to erase the pain that roams around in the own heart.
Learning never ceases, but whatever life teaches the most of us is regret that of the chances we had, at the end there was a better way.
But somehow ignorance and pride had the best of us.
I hardly regret but I wish and hope my love is enough for the ones around.
I’m no saint, but I try.
Keeping up is never easy. But the funny thing is, it’s not necessary.
But we struggle to keep up to something at a certain pace, just to realize we’re going in different directions.
And I wish if our paths cross we would stop and share a cold one, somewhere on this earth cause we’re both just travelers.
Looking back, it’s just that.
We’re never going back.
Time is self-centered, it’s us running after it.
And then age starts arranging the puzzles of life.
Ignored wisdom is invited in the equation and it makes bitter sense that then my/our pride makes it more bitter, because that’s just the human condition.
A virus that eats you alive.
Without mercy we drown in our ego.
And even knowing that things could have been done differently we still think/thought it’s too late to look back and say “I AM SORRY”.
