Just want to say a quick YAY to this post for being my 100th post on the blog!! Yaaayy! I’m super happy and thankful to God that we made it this far. Lots of struggles and efforts and God never ever gave up on me. I Thank You Lord. This is Yours and we made it to One Hundred! To many hundreds more to come, in Jesus’ name! Yayyy!

This morning after reading one of the group devotionals I am doing on The Bible app the Talk It Over part at the end like usual asked what God was telling me after reading the text, and I responded: “Have Faith!! Know Who you serve!” The devotional spoke about having faith, even in the littlest size and when you see the wonders happen, more faith will come. But first, Have Faith. Make that first step. Like the Baby and Maybe Faith pastor Michael Todd preached about in his Crazy Faith series.
Matthew 17:20 [HCSB] – ““Because of your little faith,” He told them. “For I assure you: If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Jeremiah 32:27 [HCSB] – ““Look, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is anything too difficult for Me?”
Mark 10:27 [HCSB] – “Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.””
As I wrote about in the last posts I have been praying asking God to help me pay my bills. Allowing God to provide for me, without me running around working places I don’t want to, to be able to pay them myself. No. I was learning how to sit still, get on my knees, pray and ask God to provide for me. And so I have been doing exactly that. In the Summercamp post I wrote about two months ago I wrote about God providing for just about the exact amount for my rent. Well once again, He did the exact same thing. Precisely the same amount as last time. This time I got it through unexpected working hours I wasn’t counting on. On exactly the day I had to pay my bill. I thanked Him, paid my tenth and then paid my rent.
That happened on the 16th. Now on the 19th I have my next bill to pay and so I continued the days in prayer asking God to pay these bills as the amount left was not enough. Having one day left and feeling my urges come to start doubting if I make it (in other word “if He’l make it”), I shut my mind up, stopped it from thinking further and read my devotional..
What obstacle do you need the Lord’s power to work through today? What situation or challenge have you lacked the faith to ask for in prayer? Jesus says the smallest amount of faith will produce big results. And those results will have a direct impact on increasing your faith to pray with greater confidence and boldness for the impossible to become possible.
In Matthew Chapter 17, Jesus is responding to His disciples regarding their inability to cast out a demon from a boy. Jesus identifies their lack of faith as the primary reason the boy was not healed when they prayed for him. We know the disciples were not void of faith, but their faith was not functioning properly. Jesus tells His disciples that mountain-moving faith is possible even when the tiniest, smallest amount of faith is present.
Jewish literature often connected moving a mountain with seemingly impossible events similar to this type of healing. God desires His followers to function with great faith despite the challenge or battle faced, because our faith will bring the confidence to pray bold prayers.
And so God told me to Have Faith. And so I did. It wasn’t big, but that little is all I needed to lean on. And so I held on it with my life and started the rest of the day. And once again, after unexpected extra working hours and the clients voluntarily paying me right away instead of the next week as it was planned to, I received the amount to pay my bill due the next day and even more! Once again God comes through.
I kid you not, this video down here is how I felt after. The only difference is that the smile he has in the beginning stayed way longer on my face and looked more like a combination of Jim Carrey’s The Grinch smile and Will Ferrel’s Elf smile. Then followed my high-pitched yell of excitement and thén that burst of feeling and knowing God loves me, takes care of me, provides for me and is FAITHFUL! Always!!
I’m thankful, grateful, excited, fueled, happy, my heart is touched and I can’t keep it all bottled in. Have faith I tell you! Even in the tiniest, the littlest, whatever it is you have. Hold on to it, block the doubt out and all the spiralling thoughts that follow after. Have Faith, Trust and Go!
