Merry Christmas to you all! This will be the last guest post of the year. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Number 52, how perfect to end the year with. Because I mean, which bit of OCD doesn’t want that?
It’s easier this way
Knowing how we have thrived in His favor
Sheltered in His grace
Another 365 to pass again
I barely seen it all but this favor upon me
I can only speak for myself
Or let me know about yourself
It’s easier this day
What I have lost doesn’t amount to what I have
And that I have given amount to what I have received
Please Lord forgive me I am still selfish
But teach me still to understand I haven’t necessarily lost anything that I was born with
And if I am to return I hope my smile healed a few
It will be much easier tomorrow
Surely do better and learn about yesterday
Letting go of the old self
Help me heal knowing what a blessing I am to others
Let them see me as You intend and that should be enough to remind them they are as blessed
It will be better next year
